The participants should register using this online form. All reservations including social
programme and accommodation (in case you wish to choose one of the conference hotels) should be made on the same registration form, also for the items that are included in the conference fee. Kindly make sure that you receive the automatic email reply for your registration.

If you have submitted an abstract for the Conference, please prepare to write your abstract ID on the registration form.

Conference fees

Please note that this year there are two fee categories: member and non-member fee. Everyone interested in becoming a member can join the EAUH during the registration process by ticking the box “I wish to become a member of the EAUH (through 15 May 2018)”. When you participate in the EAUH 2016 conference and indicate your willingness to become a member, your registration fee (early 270 €/ standard 320 €) includes the membership fee for two years (through 15 May 2018).

  • Conference lunches and refreshments
  • Event services at the venue
  • Admission to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Cocktail at the University of Helsinki on Wednesday
  • Helsinki City Reception on Thursday
  • Conference dinner (at a subsidized rate of 15 euros)

Accompanying person’s fee includes:

  • Admission to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Cocktail at the University of Helsinki on Wednesday
  • Helsinki City Reception on Thursday
  • Conference dinner (at a subsidized rate of 15 euros)

If you register as a Member, your registration fee includes membership in the Association from the date of registration through May 15, 2018.

Please note that costs for travel, accommodation and insurances are not included in the fees.

Payment and confirmation

All payments (conference fee, social programme and hotel deposit) should be made in advance in euros (EUR) in connection with the registration. When registering online, you will receive an automatic email reply informing you of successful registration.

Payment options:

At the end of the registration form, you will be given three alternatives for payment:

  1. Credit card​ payments will be dealt with automatically. Visa, MasterCard and Eurocard are accepted.
  2. Invoice as an e­mail attachment​, you will receive an invoice to your email and you can print it out for your files. The invoice will state your reference number and the bank details for payment.
  3. If you wish to have a manually issued invoice sent to you, please choose Invoice​. The invoice fee is 11 euro.


  • All payments should be made excluding possible banking charges
  • Bank drafts as well as personal, traveller’s or company cheques cannot be accepted

Confirmation of participation

Tavicon will confirm the participation upon receiving the registration and payments. No participation confirmation letters will be sent before all the payments (including hotel deposit and social programme) have been received.

Cancellation and refund policy

Kindly note that all cancellations and/or changes to registration and accommodation must be made in writing to Tavicon by e-mail: eauh2016(a) or by fax: +358 207 701 201.

If a cancellation for the participation and/or hotel reservation is received by 15 May, 2016, the event fee will be refunded with the exception of a handling fee of EUR 50 and/or the hotel deposit will be refunded minus EUR 20 handling fee. No refunds of the conference fee, social programme participation or hotel deposit can be made for cancellations or changes received after 15 May, 2016.

Registration can also be transferred to someone else from the same organisation. Administration fee of EUR 50 will be charged for the change.

In a case of no-show, there will be no refund of the conference fee, social programme payment or the hotel deposit.

Cancellation of the Conference

In the event that the conference cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the conference organisers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the conference organisers, the conference organisers cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, or financial losses.

Under these circumstances, the conference organisers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future conference, or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the conference and which could not be recovered from third parties.
